The latest two versions of the Tag Heuer Meridiist phone reflect the
major values of the brand - exquisite craftsmanship, utmost precision
and powerful aesthetic appeal.
Having created its successful Meridiist model in 316L stainless steel
and with a non-scratch 60.5-carat sapphire crystal display, Tag Heuer
has provided the device with a new, high-technology finish and
impressive design.
The Meridiist comprises more than 430 mechanical components, many of
which have been suggested by the legendary Tag Heuer chronograph
models. Every instrument is manually assembled by one specialist
responsible for its construction from start to finish.
The latest phone collection has been inspired by the Tag Heuer Grand
Carrera Calibre 17 RS 2, reflecting Tag Heuer racing DNA and innovative
spirit. The communication instruments are created in a heart-winning
combination of black, white and red.
The Tag Heuer Meridiist phones are developed as precision instruments
that allow to monitor time via a dual time display, including an OLED
(Organic Light-Emitting Diode) screen found at the top.
The phone, provided with an ultrasensitive antenna for assured
reception, has a dual-function switch to monitor incoming calls. The
device is also fitted with a loudspeaker, able to produce 100dB at a
distance of 5 cm. One more advantage of the Meridiist is an exceptional
battery life, implying 28 days of stand-by power or 7 hours of
continuous time for talk.
The most precious version of the two Meridiist Diamonds phone models is
adorned with 1232 diamonds, with a total weight of 7.4 carats. The gems
are meticulously set in rows stretching along the angled sides of the
phone body, and frame the display screen.
There is also a discreet diamond set shaped as a small shield,
representing the Tag Heuer logo, on the camera shutter on the back part
of the phone.
Tag Heuer has also created a lighter version of the Meridiist adorned
with 208 diamonds, with a total weight of 1.3 carats – the gems are set
in delicate rows above and below the display screen. The back of the
phone reveals a diamond-encrusted shield.
Ladies will be charmed by the feminine models of the Meridiist phone.
The keypad’s opposing call buttons are adorned with a green, East
African Tsavorite garnet and a precious red ruby.
The back of the female version of the phone has a white alligator
cover, while the male version has a black cover, accentuating the
diamonds’ texture and brilliance.
The Tag Heuer Meridiist Diamonds is housed in a glossy wooden "jewelry"
box.
