Vertu Ascent means "an ascension" in a translation from English. In design of this Vertu luxury cellphone predominates the same victorious "V" logo-letter. This letter decorates the top part of the obverse panel (in the letter was located speaker for conversations). Like Signature, the Ascent was designed with simplicity in mind. Its outlines are accurately traced in contours of the top edge of the display and the keyboard form. The top back part of the cellphone and its end faces are fitted by a skin of a hippopotamus (variants: black, brown, red, dark blue, yellow, pink or beige) by manual manufacture, and the back panel is decorated by imprinted logo Vertu.

Two materials are combine in the keyboard and the case - high-end quality stainless steel and unique liquidmetal alloy are combined. It is stronger than a steel and is more flexible than the titan, is extremely steady against mechanical influence and deformations. The battery compartment is covered with a metal cover with a fixing latch.

More masculine than the slender, elongated Signature, Ascent is a fit for men who collect cars and wear watches by Breitling or Jaeger-LeCoultre.
